The beautiful Disana boiled wool jacket is a high quality and natural alternative to conventional winter jackets made of synthetic fibers. It is made of the same Boiled wool fabric as the Disana overall, but is more suitable for toddlers who do not want to wear a suit or for older children who have already outgrown the overall sizes.
The hood and the neck area of the jacket is lined with a fabric made of cotton (organic), so certainly nothing scratches the head. The hood also fits well over a beanie or hat.
The back of the jacket is a bit longer than the front. So even when squatting or bending over, the back always stays nice and warm and covered.
The boiled wool is of very high quality and protects your child from wind and cold temperatures. The rolled merino wool is breathable and temperature balancing. Merino wool is naturally water repellent because it has a natural residue of lanolin. This makes it easy to clean the jacket, as coarse dirt can simply be shaken out or brushed out. To prevent odors, it helps to hang the jacket to air. Only if the wool has become really dirty, you have to wash it.
The jacket also goes great with the wool pants from Disana, ManyMonths, Cosilana and the gloves from Disana.
Material:
Outer: 100% merino virgin wool (organic, kbT).
Inside: 100% cotton (organic, kbA, OTS certified).
Care:
Hand wash at maximum 30°C. Do not wring or rub as it may cause the wool to shrink.
Not suitable for tumble dryer. Air dry only.
Always use a suitable wool detergent. Can be re-greased after washing with wool wax or a re-greasing detergent.
