The washable cloth pads from avo+cado are a great reusable alternative to conventional disposable pads. Not only better for your environment, but also your wallet!
A major difference to disposable cloth pads is that they are much more comfortable to wear. Throw-away cloth pads always feel a little uncomfortable for most women. While they hardly slip because of the adhesive strip, they are difficult to reposition, they often crumple or fold over at the top and lose their suction power in that area.
The cloth pads from avo+cado feel pleasant on the skin because your most intimate area is only touched by unbleached organic cotton. It's almost like another layer in your underpants that you barely notice.
They consist of several layers of unbleached organic cotton and reliably soak up your period blood. You use them the same way as any other cloth pad. If you have to change your panty liners on the go, we recommend that you use a small wet bag for transport, in which you can store your used pad until the next wash.
The cloth pads from avo+cado are available in two versions:
One is completely plastic-free because the waterproof PUL layer was omitted here. They are therefore not leak-proof, but even more breathable. We recommend it as a backup for the menstrual cup or on very light days.
The variant with a hidden PUL layer is suitable for light to normal bleeding or as a backup for the menstrual cup.
You can use the slightly larger pad for the strong days. It's also long enough to keep you safe at night.
Tip: To achieve maximum absorbency, use the cloth pad so that the side with the seam touches your skin.
