Thirsties Hemp Inserts add a tremendous amount of additional absorption to any cloth diapering system, yet add only an extra 5mm of thickness!
Made from six layers of remarkably soft hemp and cotton blend knit jersey, these hemp inserts will help your baby to sleep comfortably through the night without leaks or for increasing absorbency for heavy wetters during the day.
Hemp works best with a fast-absorbing layer on top such as bamboo, cotton or microfibre, as hemp soaks up slowly but it retains the moisture well. Hemp inserts should be placed as an outer layer in the nappy and not next to the baby's skin.
The small Thirsties hemp inserts are great for tucking into the Pop-In or Blueberry Simplex AIO, or for adding extra absorbency to any prefolds, pockets and fitted nappies.
The large inserts are optimal for long nights, nappies on the largest settings such as in the Blueberry Capri Cover One Size or for larger toddlers.

IMPORTANT: Thirsties Hemp products need to be washed and dried three times before use to rid the fibres of their natural oils and to increase absorbency. After eight wash cycles, the hemp will be fully primed and at its maximum absorbency.

Question from 11 Apr 2024Nein, aber schau mal hier bei Stoffwindelguru findest du einige Anhaltspunkte: https://www.stoffwindelguru.com/einlagen-und-booster-check/. Generell ist es aber auch eher unrealistisch die Saugmengen herauszufinden, da Materialvariabilität, Herstellungsunterschiede und die Konditionierung des Stoffs die Saugfähigkeit beeinflussen können. Hinzu kommen der Einfluss von Waschmitteln und die variierenden Testbedingungen, die präzise Messungen erschweren. Wenn sie unter den gleichen Bedingungen getestet werden, so wir bei Stoffwindelguru, dann kann man sie zumindest miteinander vergleichen :).
