The Thirsties XL Pocket Diaper is a great option for larger or older children who still need a diaper. It has multiple size adjustments and is easy to use. It already comes with inserts, but still offers enough room to increase the absorbency to fit your child individually. For this we recommend, for example prefolds from avo+cado in size 3.
As with the Thirsties Natural Pocket, the inserts consist of two parts. The top unbuttoned insert has three layers and is made entirely of cotton, which can quickly absorb moisture. The larger insert is five layers of a highly absorbent cotton and hemp blend. So it's the same two-piece insert that comes in the Thirsties Natural Pocket, but larger.
On the outside, the diaper is made of breathable TPU that reliably keeps moisture in. The double leg cuffs provide extra leakage protection and round out the fit.
The inner part of the pocket diaper is lined with soft microfiber fleece. This quickly transfers moisture to the inserts, but stays nice and dry against your child's bottom.
Pocket diapers are also a good choice for day care because they are unproblematic to use and are easy to prepare at home.
Washing instructions:
Washable up to 60 degrees.
Tumble dry, on lowest setting - but we recommend line drying.
