The Thirsties Stay Dry Duo Insert combines the fast absorbing power of microfiber with the stable absorbency of hemp, into one easy to use nappy insert.
The Stay Dry Duo is a synthetic fibre insert as well as a hemp/cotton insert, attachted together with snap buttons at each end. This means the two parts of the Duo insert won't get separated during washing, and it allows for easier cleaning and quicker drying than if all the layers were sewn together into one single thicker insert.
The top layer is made of a soft Stay Dry fleece to help protect your baby's bottom from wetness, sewn together with two layers of quick absorbing microfibre terry.
Underneath are five layers of the ultra soft Thirsties hemp/cotton jersey fabric, which feels similar to a T-shirt and won't get hard or rough, like some hemp inserts do. Hemp absorbs slower than microfibre, however has an excellent absorbency capacity and holds moisture in more reliably than other fabrics.
To speed up drying, one snap can be unsnapped so that more air can circulate between the layers.
The size above is the measurement after washing. Do not be worried if the new unwashed inserts look too large for your nappie, as it is normal that hemp and cotton may shrink up to 10% during the initial washing phase.
Top insert: 100% polyester
Bottom insert: 55% hemp, 45% cotton
Wash up to 70 degrees. Tumble dry on lowest setting.
Do not use bleach, fabric softener, soap or high heat in the dryer
IMPORTANT: Thirsties Hemp products need to be washed and dried at least three times before use to rid the fibers of their natural oils and to increase absorbency. The hemp will then be fully primed and at its maximum absorbency after eight wash cycles.

Der Druckknopf hinten der könnte das Baby im Liegen stören, wie ist die Erfahrung damit?
Question from 29 Sept 2022Nein, das stört nicht. Babys liegen ja normalerweise auf weichen Oberflächen, deshalb spüren sie den Druckknopf nicht.
