Sometimes you need an extra lid. That happens. Through wear or because you have left the other somewhere. Especially children may also drop the bottle once too often and then land just so that the lid is dented and the bottle is no longer tight.
In any case, this is not the end of the Pura bottle. In the spirit of sustainability, the lid can simply be replaced instead of having to order a completely new bottle. Because of all the mechanical work, the lid is the most vulnerable part of the bottle, so it makes sense to be able to replace it.
Just like the first lid, this one is made of #304 stainless steel and medical grade silicone, which ensures that no toxins like BPA are released. You can easily separate the silicone disk and metal ring to clean them. The lid is dishwasher safe and shatterproof and complies with all FDA, CPSC, EN14350, European Commission 10/2011 and German LFGB regulations.
