Some babies cannot relax well when they feel the cold edge of the potty on their bottom. Popolini's potty cover made of tumbled wool interlock is put around the edge of the potty so that your child does not feel the cold.
Due to its special fiber structure, wool is naturally dirt and water repellent. So moisture will initially roll off the surface. It therefore usually stays drier than cotton, which absorbs moisture very quickly.
If it is lightly soiled, you can simply wipe the cover briefly and air it. If it is heavily stained or the cover starts to smell unpleasant, you should wash the cover. We recommend a detergent containing lanolin to restore the water-repellent properties of the wool.
