The Popolini knitted nappy is the classic way of changing your baby. The nappy is made of stretchable, natural organic cotton and does not require any hook&loop fasteners or snaps. Instead it is closed with two attached strings. It is pleasantly soft and hugs your baby wonderfully.
It's great for newborns because you can easily adjust the length of the diaper. So it grows with your child.
To increase the absorbency, the binding diaper can be equipped with an additional absorbent insert, e.g. with the muslin diaper from Disana or a bamboo insert from avo+cado.
The knitted diaper requires a cover to protect against moisture. We recommend the Disana knitted wool cover or the Petit Lulu pull-up cover. Both are very elastic and fit well over the knitted diaper.
Our tip: For better leakage protection, we recommend folding the inside of the binding diaper in the crotch area. This creates an extra barrier and the diaper becomes narrower in the crotch.
Care instructions:
Machine washable up to 95 degrees. Wash 2-3 times before first use in order to develop full suction power. Do not use chlorine bleach!
In order to avoid knotting the ties when washing, we recommend braiding the strings of several knitted diapers and then closing them with a loop.
